NGSL英単語集

NGSL(New General Service List)は2851語を重要な単語として選んでいます。New General Service List Projectで"the most important words for second language learners of English"として公開されています。一般的な頻出英単語を集めたもので、2億7000万語にも及ぶデータベースを元にしているようです(Easy Word Power)。

NGSLの約2800語で一般的な英文に含まれる単語の９２％を占めているそうです。日常会話、テレビ・ラジオ番組」で話されている英単語の『92％』もカバーする英単語リストとして公開されています。([この英単語を覚えるだけで、英文の９割は読めるようになるという話])

小学校・中学校、NGSLの2800語、オックスフォードの基本語3000などの基本語との関連も表示させています。発音や関連する画像なども確認することができます
